Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Bahrain Specialist Hospital was inaugurated on February 26th, 2003. Since its inception, Bahrain Specialist Hospital (BSH) has established itself as a center of excellence in the Arabian Gulf, providing highly specialized medical services with a focus on the latest technologies and state-of-the-art equipment.
BSH is proud to be the first hospital in Bahrain to receive the prestigious Joint Commission International accreditation (JCI). This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services and underscores our dedication to meeting international standards of excellence. In fact, BSH is the only private healthcare facility in Bahrain that was inaugurated by HM King Hamad Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the ruler of Bahrain.
Founded by a diverse group of shareholders from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, BSH aims to elevate the standards of healthcare not only in Bahrain but also in the wider region.
