The American Mission Hospital N.P.C. is a nonprofit private hospital situated in Manama, Bahrain. With a rich history spanning over 120 years, it has been providing healthcare services to the community of Bahrain since its establishment in 1903 as the Mason Memorial Hospital. Serving as the first modern hospital in Bahrain and the entire Gulf region, the hospital has grown to offer a wide range of general and specialized medical and dental services.
In addition to its main branch in Manama, the hospital now operates clinics in Saar, Amwaj Islands, and Riffa, expanding its reach and accessibility to patients. Notably, the hospital system recently expanded with the opening of the King Hamad American Mission Hospital (KHAMH) in A’Ali on January 26, 2023.
With facilities now located in Manama, Amwaj, Saar, Rifaa, and A’Ali (KHAMH), the American Mission Hospital serves the people of Bahrain from five different locations. The branches in Manama, Saar, and A’Ali operate on a 24/7 basis, ensuring round-the-clock medical care for the community.
